Neuropathy
-
Neuropathy is defined as a group of disorders that begins due to damage of the peripheral nervous system. Generally, neuropathy creates pain, numbness and tingling in the extremities (hands and feet).
-
There have been several treatments developed for the treatment of neuropathies in Viera, Suntree and Rockledge. Treatment options range from medications, creams, special diets and therapies. All of these treatments are designed to assist in nervous system function. The most common course of treatment is prescription antidepressants to relieve pain in non-depressed patients. Research has also found that antidepressants can alleviate peripheral neuropathy induced from chemotherapy treatments. Proper nutrition is very important in preventing and managing neuropathy. This is especially true about diabetics. An exercise plan is highly recommended. If you are currently a smoker, it is advised to quit. For relief at home, massaging your hands and feet will stimulate the nerves and relieve pain. It is also extremely important to avoid spending extensive periods of time on your knees or elbows in order to prevent further damage.
Spinal Decompression
-
Spinal decompression therapy is an effective non-surgical approach to addressing disc problems, such as herniated or bulging discs, radiating neck and back pain, sciatic pain, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease or chronic lower back pain. It can be highly effective, even for patients who have had no success with other traditional or alternative options. Research shows an 86%-91% success rate when using spinal decompression for symptoms of sciatica, bulging or herniated discs, and back pain.
At Chiropractic Envy, we recommend this therapy for patients with acute or chronic radiating pain, MRI confirmation of disc issues, and for those who want to avoid risky injections or surgery. This therapy may even help if you’ve had a failed spinal surgery. Spinal decompression and other services offered near Viera, Suntree, and Rockledge.

FAQs

Definitely!

Insurance reimbursement currently forces most companies to co-treat multiple patients at once & denies many performance based treatments that we deliver at Chiropractic Envy. We refuse to allow insurance to dictate your level of care. You deserve better!
A Super-Bill can easily be provided! This will allow you to easily submit proof of your appointment to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement.
At Chiropractic Envy, we like to be completely transparent about what you are getting and having to pay, rather than getting a random bill a month later from your insurance company.

This will be dependent on the insurance you have, but YES, most non-medicare patients can send "self claims" to their insurance company that shows what specific treatments and therapies we provided at the clinic. You should be able to print claim-forms from your insurance companies website, and send it in with the needed reciepts and treatment codes that will be provided upon request.
The amount of reimbursement or application towards your deductable is completely dependent on your insurance plan. If you would like to inquire about what reimbursement you are likely to expect, give your insurance company a call and ask about reimbursement for "out-of-network Chiropractic" expenses sent in via self-claims.

Yes, you can. It is an unfortunate fact that many people who have undergone back surgery see symptoms of their original condition (often in the form of pain or reduced flexibility) come back after a number of years. Chiropractic care is a safe and efficient way of alleviating the pain associated both with your back condition and the stress of back surgery.
